What to Expect
Worship
Sunday morning worship at First Baptist Hazard is best described as casual in dress and traditional in style. There is no unwritten expectation concerning how you dress. You might see a tie or two, but not many or very often. Most wear collared shirts and slacks, but it's not unusual to see folks in jeans and t-shirts. We desire for you to come to Bible study and worship comfortably in your own skin and clothes! Our worship music is primarily traditional hymns sprinkled with the best of newer songs. You'll find our worship to be warm and casual, but our focus clearly on the Word of God and on elevating Jesus and the Good News about Him. Expect worship to last from one hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.
Children during worship
On most Sundays children K-6th, grade enjoy their own children's church during the sermon portion of the worship service.
Parking
You can park right on Main Street and enter at worship time through the front doors on Main St. Or you can come to the back parking lot where there is plenty of parking. If you come for Sunday school (9:30 am) then be sure to come to the back lot. You'll be met by parking attendants and greeters to help you find a class just for you and your family. If you come for worship (10:30 am), you'll again be assisted by our parking attendants and greeters. If you have a little one we have some spots just for you close to the nursery.

While you're with us we hope you complete a "Connect Card" and leave it with us so we'll have the chance to be in touch.
